Remember Gordon Zimmer today. Gordon was the first Edison Hero to be killed in action during World War 2 while serving with the US Navy in the South Pacific on 10Oct1942.
Gordon was also the last Edison alumni “discovered” to be an Edison Hero and have his name included on the memorial plaque.
Gordon is the 87th (of 116) Edison Hero from World War II to be featured on this site.
