Earl graduated with the Class of February 1934. As can be seen by his yearbook entry, he was an excellent student, and active with numerous organizations and clubs at school. After high school he completed medical school at the University of Minnesota.

Branch: United States Navy Reserve

According to the 1946 Edison Wizard, Earl served in both the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans during the war. No documentation of that service has been located to date.

on 5Jul1945 Earl was involved in a midair collision near Wheeler, IL while flying out of Naval Air Station Glenview in Glenview, IL.

Earl’s body was returned to Minnesota, and he is buried at Hillside Cemetary in Minneapolis.
