Ralph graduated with the January Class of 1939. While he school he participated in gymnastics and Hi-Y.

Military Service

Branch: United States Marine Corps Reserve

Rank: 2nd Lieutenant

In 1943 Ralph was commissioned and earned his pilot wings after graduation from Flight Class 5C at the United States Navy Air Training Center in Pensacola, FL.

Ralph was killed in a midair collision while training with squadron VMSB-464 within Marine Air Group 41 at Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, CA.

Ralph is buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetary.
